My mission

Last week me and the other Mama Hope's Global Advocates were asked to build our own mission statements. My statement reflects how I want to be living my life from this point on. I know that I may not always be successful. But I promise that I will be trying my best every day to be true to my own words.

I must keep myself strong and positive.
I must always see the cup half full.
I must live my life to serve others and look for happiness in the eyes of those who I love most.
I must be trustful and show my love to those who are important to me.
I must always keep dreaming, for dreams are made to give purpose to one’s life.
I must always be honest to myself and to others.
I must live a life of passion and feel every moment intensely and with no fear of judgment.
I must cry when I need to or laugh out loud at my own mistakes.
I must surround myself with people that I look up to because that will also bring the best out of me.
I should give the best of me.
I should do what is right, because I know what is wrong.
I should contribute more than criticize and inspire other people to do the same.
I should respect all living creatures and expect to be respected in return.
I must love myself and others for everyone has an unique spirit and something to offer.
I must make sure that every person that comes into my life, young or old, feels loved and understood.
I must fight for all children's right to grow and develop in a safe, healthy, and loving environment.
In the end of my day, my week, my life, I must look back and be able to say that I dreamed, I followed my heart, I contributed, and I was an inspiration to someone. That to me is success.
I must simply be a good person, who doesn’t doubt life, God or myself. A person who is courageous and truly cares about the people that surround me.

These are the some of the smiles that inspire me to do this work:
