Another amazing thing about the United Hearts is the staff members. Lauren tells me that the the staff are mostly men in their early twenties and she says that "they came at a time when not much was offered to them, besides food". But they stayed anyways and worked hard, and made the orphanage the way that it is today. "They chose to dedicate their whole lives to take care of the kids from the Children's Center because they believe that those children are the future of Bawjiase", Lauren says.
The staff work for free, and they all play different roles, from cooking to cleaning, from fixing things to teaching the kids. There is no doubt that these men are the most influential people on the lives of these children. With that I can say that the kids from United Hearts will grow to be amazing human beings!
